Quebec team
In collaboration with clubs, coaches and Sail Canada, Quebec's Sailing Federation (FVQ) is working to develop an annual program aimed at providing a support structure allowing the full development of Quebec athletes and help clubs put in place the programs necessary for their development.

Coralie Vittecoq
ILCA 6
Coralie started sailing at the age of 7 at the Hudson Yacht Club. She quickly progressed in the Optimist class and participated in numerous international regattas, including the 2012 World Championships. At 14, she then opted for laser radial to continue her development within the Quebec sailing team . Her performance at the Canadian Youth Championships in 2015 qualified her for the ISAF World Youth Championships in Malaysia. Coralie is now part of the Canadian development team in ILCA 6.

Kofi Dinel
ILCA 7
Kofi a débuté la voile au BLBC dès l’âge de 10 ans. Après avoir cumulé quelques années en optimiste, il est passé en ILCA 6. En ayant eu la chance de s’entrainer avec différentes équipes aux Québec, il a pu rapidement se développer en tant qu’athlète. Depuis maintenant deux ans, Kofi fait partie de l’équipe du Québec en ILCA 7.
Loa Dinel
ILCA 6
Loa discovered sailing at the age of 6 while sailing in an Optimist at the Club Nautique du Lac Brome. She followed in the footsteps of her older brothers by competing in Optimist for many years, which resulted in her being selected for several international competitions. Since the summer of 2021, she has been sailing in ILCA 6, the women's Olympic class, and aspires to participate in the 2028 Games. Loa enjoys sailing for the adrenaline it gives her on windy days and the friendships she makes. done across provinces and countries. She is looking forward to new experiences through this exciting sport.
Jacob Townsend
ILCA 7
Jacob a débuté la voile à l’âge de 8 ans en Optimist et a intégré l’équipe de course du Club de voile Deux Montagnes à 12 ans. Toujours au CVDM, Jacob a participé et remporté plusieurs régates telles que le Championnat du Qc et Fruit Bowl, en 2022, Jacob a terminé 4e à CORK International. A court terme, il espère rejoindre l’équipe canadienne de voile jeunesse avec comme rêve ultime participer aux Olympiques!
Cailem Austin
ILCA 7
Cailem navigue depuis l’âge de 8 ans. Il commence la régate en Optimist, puis rejoint l’Équipe C420 du HYC. À seulement 15 ans, il se taille une place dans l’Équipe Canadienne de voile Junior. Maintenant âgé de 18 ans et toujours sur l’Équipe, Cailem entame sa première année en ILCA 7 et entend y performer. aux Jeux de 2028.
