- Ensure good quality management of circuit regattas and the safety of participants.
- Ensure the participation of as many young people as possible.
- Encourage the practice of sailing competitions in Quebec.
- Develop regattas in Quebec.
- Standardize regattas in Quebec.
- Extend the season from June to October.
